Safety is your first priority
1.Before you use this machine. Make sure that machine is earthed.
2.Machine must be Switched off and unplugged from the socket in the wall before changing heat plates. Wear a pair of heat-insulated gloves when changing heat plates or wait till heat plates has cooled down completely
3.Allow machine to cool down after use. Never have the heat press in the press position when element is hot when not in use
4.Do not touch heat plates at any time
5.Adjust pressure knob only when press is in the open position
6.To adjust pressure turn the black pressure screw located between mug holder and pressure lever (clockwise for less pressure and anti clockwise for more pressure as desired).
7.Keep children away from machine at all times
Operation Process
For using the T shirt press The following procedure must always be used: Heatpress element must be in the lockdown position while element is heating up. Once temperature is reached open press and place T shirt with Transfer onto bed and press . Lockdown press when hot and not in use.
1.Heat press element must be securely plugged into the machine before you switch the machine on.
2.Plug your electrical cord into the machine
3.Plug electrical socket into wall plug
4.Temperature is measured in Degrees Fahrenheit
5.Switch on
How to program Heat Press
Note: Left arrow select down. Right arrow select UP
1.1Press the mode button once Set Light – ON
1.2Select with arrows - minimum temp kick in (this is normally set about 5-10 degrees below
1.3Required temperature for normal press techniques
1.4This is also the mode you use for slow heat process pressing techniques
2.1Press the mode button. Set and Temperature light – ON
2.2Select with arrows temperature required (min Temp 200℉ max Temp 430℉)
3.1Press mode button. Set and Time light - ON
3.2Select with arrows the seconds you will use for each press (0-999 seconds)
4.1Press mode to exit
4.2The program will stay in memory of the control board
5.1How to use counter when you want to press
5.2Push the right hand button marked with a square and countdown will start when seconds are up buzzer will sound.
5.3Press button again to switch buzzer OFF
Additional Features:
1.Slow Heat Press Techniques: Place the object (i.e. T-shirt) on press bed, adjust pressure to your requirement, and turn on the power switch ON, The temperature starts to rise, once the temperature rise to the initial temperature, the buzzer will send out a short sound. Then press object. Push the button counter once, wait for long buzzer sound, press counter button again, work finish and take out object. The temperature will return gradually to the initial temperature.
2.Normal Heat Press Techniques: only press when set temperature is reached. Counter will only start when selected temperature has been reached the set light will flash in the mean time.
Trouble shooting for transfer quality
A. If the colour is pale: the temperature is too low / the pressure is not correct / or not pressed long enough.
B. If the picture is blurring: Too much transfer time causes proliferation.
C. If a part of picture is blurring: Heat was not distributed correctly through heat plate. Allow more time between press operations. Pressure distribution can also be the cause, which can be set on the four plate surface adjusters. Please note that it has been factory set and there should be no need to adjust them
D. If the pattern is scarred: Transfer time is too long.
E. The pattern of colour is different: the pressure is not correct or the transfer paper is poor quality
F.Adhesive paper: the temperature is too high or poor printing ink
Recommendations
Ceramic tile transfer: (Mugs & Plates transfer is similar)
1.1Parameter: Initial temperature: 230 Fahrenheit. The Maximum temperature: 330 Fahrenheit
1.2The Maximum time of press: 40 seconds some techniques could be longer
T-shirt transfer:
2.1Parameter: Initial temperature: 355 Fahrenheit. The Maximum temperature: 355 Fahrenheit.
2.2The Maximum time of press: (chemical fibre use for sublimation transfer paper: 30-50seconds; pure cotton use for T-shirt transfer paper: 10-20seconds)
Cap pressing:
3.1Unscrew the press bed and fit cap press bed onto the base of the heat press machine by using the wing nuts
3.2Change press head
3.3Adjust height and lock the anti swivel locks of the heat press machine by using the black knob at the back of machine. Before you switch machine ON make sure element wire is plugged in and secured and all components has been secured and fastened REMEMBER to unlock anti swivel lock before adjusting the pressure.
